Job summary

Kura Oncology, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Biosample Operations to lead biosample logistics for Phase I–IV clinical trials in a fast-paced environment.

You will work under the Head of Clinical Operations and partner with CTLs and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality sample handling and data delivery. The role requires a science background, 4–6 years in clinical trial management, and 2+ years in biosample project management, with strong knowledge of GCP/ICH and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• > Must have a Bachelor’s degree in science/healthcare or equivalent.
• > 4-6 years of clinical trial management experience preferred.
• > 2+ years of hands-on biosample project management experience preferred.
• > Strong understanding of drug development process and cross-functional teams.
• > Proven ability to build relationships with partners, CROs, and vendors.
• > Knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, manage and drive biosample logistics across Phase I-IV trials.
• Standardize and harmonize biosample activities across trials; oversee collection, processing, storage and reconciliation.
• Review study protocols, consents, laboratory documents and data handling scopes of work.
• Ensure ethical use of biosamples collected in trials.
• Coordinate lifecycle management of patient samples from collection to disposition.
• Maintain project-level consistency and drive improvements in collection, processing and data delivery.
• Track biosample status and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with internal and external team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
