Job summary

Colorado State University seeks an IBC/IRE Coordinator to support institutional compliance with federal regulations by assisting the Institutional Biosafety Committee and the Institutional Review Entity. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 2+ years in regulatory compliance, research administration, scientific research, or laboratory management.

Responsibilities

• Review IBC and IRE submissions for accuracy and contact PIs when deficiencies are found.
• Assist in training new IBC and IRE members on roles, processes, policies and guidelines.
• Perform support functions for the IBC and IRE.
• Attend meetings to help record minutes and assist in post‑meeting actions and communications.
• Maintain accurate paper and electronic records accessible upon request.
• Maintain professional relationships with investigators and staff.
