Qualifications

  • Master's degree in biological science with 3–5 years of biomedical/clinical research experience.
  • Doctorate in biological sciences or medicine is strongly preferred and related molecular biology experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee containment facilities for safety and compliance.
  • Administer and support biosafety programs and training.
  • Review IACUC protocols and IBC registrations.
  • Develop emergency response procedures and safety training.
  • Investigate injuries and accidents related to biosafety in containment labs.
  • Respond to hazardous materials incidents on call and manage select safety measures.
