Henry Ford Health in Detroit, MI is seeking a Senior Coordinator for Research Compliance—Bioresources to ensure bioresources operations meet federal, state and institutional standards. You will coordinate animal care, tissue banking, specimen handling and prepare regulatory submissions to IACUC, IBC and other bodies.

You will develop SOPs, conduct audits, maintain records, train staff, and serve as the primary compliance liaison for research teams while monitoring regulatory changes and driving

Qualifications

• Requires 3–5 years in research compliance or bioresources management.
• Knowledge of USDA, NIH, FDA guidance.
• Experience with IACUC protocols preferred.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Proficiency with LIMS.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate compliance activities related to bioresources management.
• Develop and maintain SOPs aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare regulatory documents and submissions to oversight bodies like IACUC and IBC.
• Conduct compliance audits and identify gaps with corrective actions.
• Maintain records and databases of biosource protocols and approvals.
• Serve as primary contact for research teams on compliance.
• Coordinate staff training on compliance policies.
• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate updates.
• Assist in preparation for review meetings and compliance presentations.
• Collaborate with coordinators and investigators to ensure seamless operations.
• Analyze data and generate reports to support improvements.
