Henry Ford Health is seeking a Senior Coordinator for Research Compliance-Bioresources in Detroit to ensure strict adherence to regulatory standards across bioresources activities. You will coordinate audits, SOPs, documentation, and communications with IACUC, IBC, and other oversight bodies.

You will partner with research teams, PIs, and administrative staff to maintain accurate records, implement training, and monitor evolving compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in research compliance or bioresources management.
• Knowledge of USDA, NIH, and FDA guidelines.
• Proficiency with documentation systems and LIMS.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Advanced organizational and project management skills.
• Data analysis and comprehensive reporting abilities.
• Experience with IACUC protocols and animal care (preferred).
• Knowledge of biosafety and biohazard handling (preferred).
• Grant management and regulatory submissions experience (preferred).
• Audit preparation and quality assurance experience (preferred).
• MS Office and database management proficiency.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Professional demeanor and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate compliance activities related to bioresources management.
• Develop and maintain SOPs aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare regulatory documentation for IACUC, IBC, and other agencies.
• Conduct audits and identify gaps with corrective actions.
• Maintain records and databases on bioresources protocols and approvals.
• Serve as liaison for research teams on compliance requirements.
• Coordinate training on compliance policies for staff.
• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate updates.
• Prepare materials for review meetings and compliance presentations.
• Collaborate with coordinators, PIs, and staff for seamless operations.
• Analyze compliance data and generate improvement reports.
