Job summary

Responsibilities include inventory management, de-identification where appropriate, data entry in LIMS, and maintaining chain of custody while complying with SOPs, GCP, CLIA, CAP, FDA, and HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Biological Sciences or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience handling human biological specimens in lab/clinical setting.
• Experience with specimen inventory management, chain of custody, and data management.
• Proficiency with LIMS, SMS, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work on-site and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage specimen lifecycle from receipt to disposition with chain of custody.
• Process specimen requests and coordinate approvals.
• Inventory and track remnant specimens and ensure accurate documentation.
• De-identify specimens per privacy and regulatory requirements.
• Enter and maintain specimen data in LIMS and SMS for audit readiness.
