Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Biorelevant Testing and Predictive Modeling Co-Op for the Material and Analytical Sciences group at the Ridgefield facility. You will compare PION and t-TIM datasets and apply predictive modeling to support early biopharmaceutic decisions.

As a Spring Co-Op, you will work with dissolution data, perform quality checks, and analyze trends across datasets, under scientific guidance.

Qualifications

• Must be an undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academic standing pursuing Mechanical/Chemical/Material Engineering or pharmaceutical sciences background or a related discipline.
• Overall cumulative minimum GPA from last completed quarter/semester 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) preferred.
• Major or minor in related field ofco-op.
• Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours at current college or university.
• Graduate and advanced degree students must have completed at least 9 credit hours at current college or university.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of dissolution and t-TIM data and their relevance to drug-product biopharmaceutics and early development decisions.
• Compile, organize, harmonize, and perform quality checks on PION, t-TIM, formulation, and available clinical data.
• Analyze trends and correlations across datasets to evaluate relationships among in vitro results, formulation attributes, and available clinical outcomes.
• Apply statistical analysis, data visualization, and predictive modeling approaches under scientific guidance.
• Summarize findings and present recommendations.
