Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a talented co-op to join our IT Research, Development and Medicine department in Ridgefield, CT. This on-site role requires 2-3 days per week in the office and candidates must be within commuting distance for the duration of the internship.

As a co-op, you will assist in developing solutions for the scientific business team and IT, learning about the team and company while contributing to discovery, development and delivery of products.

Qualifications

• Must be an Undergraduate, Graduate, or Professional Student in good academic standing
• Must have completed 12 credit hours within a related major and/or other related coursework
• GPA at least 3.000 (on 4.0 scale) or better
• Major must be related to the field of internship

Responsibilities

• Consulting and Analysis: meet with IT colleagues to understand processes and needs, gather requirements
• Project/Solution Activities: participate on project teams, deliver tasks in agile framework
• Technical Focus: apply knowledge of applications/systems and architecture, stay aware of best practices
• Documentation: produce required documentation for baseline and project activities
