Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Co-Op in Automation, Material and Analytical Sciences at our Ridgefield, CT facility. As an intern, you will design automated solubility experiments, analyze results with data analytics and ML, and help build a digital workflow for isolation process development.

You will gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art equipment and contribute to drug development efforts, while benefiting from BI's commitment to learning, diversity, and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Must be a current undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academic standing.
• Student must be enrolled at an accredited college or university for the duration of the co-op.
• Overall cumulative minimum GPA from last completed quarter/semester 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) preferred.
• Major or minor in related field of co-op.
• Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours at current college or university.
• Graduate and advanced degree students must have completed at least 9 credit hours at current college or university.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct automated solubility experiments using robotics and high-throughput tools.
• Analyze experimental results using modeling, data analytics, machine learning, and computer vision.
• Develop a digital, automated workflow to support isolation process development.
