Job summary

Genentech seeks a Bioprocess Technician to join our cGMP manufacturing team in Oceanside, CA. You will operate and troubleshoot automated production systems, perform cell culture, purification, and formulation steps, and maintain cleanroom environments to ensure safety, quality, and inspection readiness.

You will document readings and tickets, collaborate across functions, and support a proactive safety culture while complying with strict gowning and PPE requirements in a dynamic biopharma

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background knowledge in bio-processing/biopharmaceutical tech.
• Strong written and verbal communication; accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot automated production systems and related equipment.
• Perform core biomanufacturing activities including cell culture, purification, and formulation steps.
• Prepare media and buffers per production guidelines.
• Maintain cleanroom facilities and equipment per cGMP and SOP.
• Document process readings, tickets and calculations accurately.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve deviations.
• Contribute to a proactive safety culture by reporting incidents and concerns.
