Job summary

You will perform preculture and cell culture operations on reduced-scale bioreactors, contribute to automation and process control, evaluate new sensor technologies, and report findings to senior staff while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of biotherapeutic manufacturing cell culture operations.
• Experience with reduced-scale bioreactors and aseptic techniques.
• Familiarity with process analytics such as metabolite analyzers and cell counters.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preculture and cell culture operations of reduced scale bioreactors.
• Execute lab-scale protocols to support automation and advanced process control of bioreactor operations.
• Participate in the evaluation of new sensor technologies installed in bioreactors.
• Conduct offline sample testing and prepare data summaries of bioreactor operations.
• Report to senior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
