Job summary

Medgene Labs seeks a Process Development and Improvement Associate Scientist to execute process development and improvement studies for recombinant protein manufacture. Experience with protein production, cell culture, and fermentation is preferred. Strong documentation and SOP execution are required.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential. Responsibilities include optimizing expression, maintaining lab records, and supporting production transfers to ensure high-quality vaccine

Qualifications

• BS in Biochemistry or Microbiology, or an-associated degree with relevant experience.
• Experience with fermentation or cell culture preferred.
• Proficiency in aseptic techniques and good documentation practices.
• Ability to follow SOPs and write accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand SOPs and Protocols.
• Follow study protocols under supervisor guidance.
• Execute experiments in small-scale bioreactors and fermenters to optimize expression and product quality.
• Maintain detailed lab notebooks and batch records.
• Maintain aseptic technique and safety in the lab.
• Assist production activities and support technology transfer.
• Produce experimental vaccines compliant with CVB guidelines and regulations.
• Maintain security of Master Seed and released products.
