POET seeks a Plant Engineer in Big Stone, SD to collaborate with the management team on bioprocessing facilities. You will develop capital projects, justify economics, and drive continuous improvement across operations to boost run time and reduce costs.

You will manage data analyses, coordinate with engineers, and support process safety and change management activities while maintaining a strong culture of safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience in operating processing plants is beneficial.
• Knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations is a plus.
• Leadership and project management experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop capital projects with economic justifications for site leadership.
• Identify plant improvement opportunities with engineers for CI and cost savings.
• Analyze process data and create action plans for optimization.
• Assist with shutdown planning and execution.
• Support MOC and Process Safety Management documentation.
• Coordinate procedures and facilitate interdepartmental communication.
