Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Malvern, PA is seeking a Utility Operator/Mechanic III to maintain and repair facility utilities and process equipment in a GMP setting. You will operate boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, pumps, and SCADA/HMI interfaces, conducting preventive maintenance and responding to alarms with minimal supervision.

Requirements include at least 6 years of related industrial experience, ability to lift 25 lbs, and mobility to travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent; Trade/Technical School certification or Military MOS/AFSC/A/C School accepted.
• At least 6 years of related industrial experience (electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, instrumentation and controls).
• Must be mobile and able to travel between sites as needed; PPE required; lifts up to 25 pounds.
• Vision: close, distance, depth perception; tolerance for continuous operations.]
• Must comply with safety and regulatory guidelines and participate in PM development and optimization.

Responsibilities

• This role maintains and repairs utility equipment in a biologics manufacturing environment.
• Operates and maintains the utility plant (boilers, chillers, HVAC, pumps, etc.) and responds to alarms.
• Performs preventive and corrective maintenance and participates in root cause analysis and non-conformance investigations.
