Job summary

Amgen is hiring an Engineer I – Downstream or Upstream for multiple shifts to design, build, commission, and qualify biopharmaceutical process equipment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable plant operations and ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 8 years of engineering/maintenance experience
• Associate’s degree with 6 years of engineering/maintenance experience
• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of engineering/maintenance experience
• Master’s degree in a related field is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide system ownership for biopharmaceutical process equipment.
• Lead or support engineering improvements to equipment or facility systems.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality and Maintenance to ensure reliable operations.
