Katalyze is hiring a software engineer to build applications used by biopharma scientists and engineers. You will ship features end to end in TypeScript, React and Python, and own what you build from first commit to production.

Join a small, tight-knit team in Toronto, collaborate with AI and deployment squads, and ensure the platform stays fast, secure and auditable as customers scale.

Qualifications

• Four or more years building web applications in production.
• Experience designing APIs and relational data models (PostgreSQL).
• Comfort across frontend, backend, and data between them.
• Strong TypeScript and React with Python experience.

Responsibilities

• Build features end to end in TypeScript, React, and Python.
• Design the review screens where experts check sources.
• Connect the platform to MES, LIMS, and quality systems.
• Keep the platform fast, reliable and secure as data grows.
• Design APIs and data models that keep records auditable.
• Join customer calls and site visits to see how the product is used.
• Review code, write tests and improve shipping cadence.
