Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
• 5+ years industrial experience in a cGMP environment.
• Knowledge/experience with several biopharmaceutical processes, facilities, plant or utilities equipment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience leading small/medium scale process improvement projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively cross functionally with staff and management.
• Sound problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage team of Frontline Engineers (4-6) and oversee, coordinate, review and approve work.
• Coach, mentor and develop frontline engineers; drive continuous improvements and capital delivery.
• Provide functional leadership to Process Team engineering representatives; manage change controls, deviations and investigations.
• Participate in governance and risk management; support root cause analysis and complex investigations.
• Collaborate with Operations, Technical Operations, Laboratory, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance & Utilities to ensure clear communication and regulatory compliance.
• Support commissioning, qualification activities and dissemination of technical documentation.
