Job summary

Legend Biotech, Inc. in Raritan, NJ, seeks a Senior Engineer to provide technical leadership for facilities, utilities, and cell therapy manufacturing equipment.

You will partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, Facilities, and Maintenance to enable reliable, compliant operations and drive continuous improvement. You will lead lifecycle management, troubleshooting, and change controls while delivering OpEx initiatives and supporting audits, with a focus on cGMP compliance across multiple

Qualifications

• BS in engineering; MS preferred.
• 7+ years of engineering, facilities, maintenance, or operations in GMP environment.
• Experience in biotechnology/pharma manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns lifecycle management for GMP facilities, utilities and process equipment.
• Lead troubleshooting, deviations, CAPAs and change controls for equipment and systems.
• Identify and deliver CO­GM reduction and OpEx initiatives.
• Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Support commissioning, qualification, validation, startup and turnover activities.
• Monitor system performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Draft and review SOPs, technical reports and specifications.
• Lead cross-functional projects and manage contractors/vendors.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, EHS and regulatory requirements.
• Support audits and inspections.
