Job summary

Lonza is hiring for a Core Technician (Lab Technician 2) to support the production of sterile biopharmaceutical products in a GMP-regulated cleanroom. You will perform manufacturing activities, adhere to procedures, and ensure safety and quality standards are maintained.

The role requires 1-3 years of lab or manufacturing experience, with a preference for a Life Sciences degree and GMP exposure. On-site 12-hour rotating day shift; driven team environment and career growth within Lonza.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences preferred, or equivalent lab/biomanufacturing experience.
• 1-3 years of laboratory, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or manufacturing experience.
• GMP-regulated environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing activities supporting sterile biologics in a cleanroom.
• Execute procedures per GMP documentation and identify deviations.
• Maintain safety, quality and GMP compliance across operations.
• Support aseptic processing with proper gowning and contamination control.
• Document production activities accurately per regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production schedules.
