Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a production operator to support the manufacture of high‑quality biological products at our Louisiana facility. The role involves following schedules, maintaining aseptic techniques, and assisting with procedures and equipment maintenance to ensure quality and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong communication, math, and problem‑solving skills, plus experience with GMP practices and basic lab principles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to train others.
• Perform calculations and conversions involving weights, volumes, and percentages.
• Ability to use basic logic to identify and solve problems.
• Knowledge of GMP/documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and audit records, calibration, and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Read schedules, procedures, and documents and follow them.
• Assist in training other employees and developing new procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot production equipment; monitor MES and SAP data.
• Perform aseptic techniques and ensure proper aseptic environment.
• Support equipment validation and calibration schedules; maintain room cleanliness and safety.
