Job summary

Ideal Innovations, Inc. seeks a Biometrics Software Engineer SME to integrate fingerprint, facial recognition, and iris scanning into existing software. This role requires expertise in biometric algorithms and software development across the full lifecycle.

You will work with IDEMIA MBSS and third-party APIs/SDKs, apply security best practices, and contribute to biometric-based identity management. US Citizenship and TS/SCI clearance is required; onsite in Bethesda, MD.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with CI-poly required.
• Master's degree with 15+ years or Doctorate with 13+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong biometric modalities knowledge (facial, fingerprint, iris).
• Experience integrating third-party APIs/SDKs for biometric data.
• Security protocols for handling sensitive biometric data.
• Experience with Java, Spring, and DevOps.
• Familiarity with database technologies to store biometric data.

Responsibilities

• Integrate fingerprint, facial recognition, and iris scanning into existing software systems.
• Integrate IDEMIA MBSS with applications and platforms.
• Develop and support software integrations using Java, Spring, C2S, APIs, and SDKs.
• Support storage and management of biometric data with secure database technologies.
• Participate in the full SDLC within an Agile/DevOps environment.
