Job summary

Labcorp is seeking medical professionals to provide testing services at events in Huntsville, Alabama. Staff can self-assign to local events via our scheduling system and receive pre-event training on LES protocols.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, biometric screenings, COVID-19 PCR and rapid testing, and maintaining participant privacy while delivering excellent customer service. Training and support are provided to ensure quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Medical credentials required (CPT, RN, LPN, etc.)
• Minimum 1 year venipuncture experience; 100+ successful draws in last 6 months
• Proficient taking blood pressure; HIPAA/OSHA knowledge
• Excellent customer service; ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have reliable transportation and be willing to pass a criminal background check
• Must be 18 years or older
• Minimum healthcare setting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture blood draws and prepare specimens for testing
• Conduct biometric screenings including blood pressure, BMI, and body fat analysis
• Perform COVID-19 PCR testing and point-of-care antigen testing; temperature checks
• Capture participant information and screening results accurately
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining participant privacy
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned
