Job summary

eHealthScreenings - a Premise Health Company is seeking Biometric Health Screeners for the Minneapolis area to support biometric health screenings at local companies. You will perform comprehensive biometric testing, venipuncture and/or fingerstick blood draws, and maintain accurate records.

A strong focus on customer service, reliability, and safety is essential. Eligible candidates should have phlebotomy credentials or a valid program completion with hands-on externship.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Current national phlebotomy certification OR accredited program with hands-on externship.
• Active state phlebotomy certification required for NV/CA/WA/LA.
• Have completed 200 venipunctures in the last year or 100 fingersticks in the last year.
• Must be able to use a manual blood pressure cuff.
• Available for PRN, event-driven position, mainly weekday mornings.

Responsibilities

• Perform biometric testing including height, weight, blood pressure, body fat, and BMI.
• Conduct venipuncture or fingerstick blood draws.
• Prepare specimens for storage or processing.
• Set up and break down portable biometric stations.
• Transport supplies to events as needed (up to 20 lbs).
• Maintain logs and records for laboratory transactions per policy.
• Adhere to safety and OSHA regulations; work with limited supervision.

We are currently seeking Biometric Health Screeners to join our team in Minneapolis, MN.

About the role:

These positions are as-needed opportunities and offer flexibility in scheduling and highly competitive pay. We send you out to local companies within your area to perform biometric health screenings for the employees of the companies.

What would make you successful in this role? Strong customer service skills, previous venipuncture and/or fingerstick experience, ability to use manual blood pressure cuff, tech savvy and excellent communication skills.

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform and record biometric testing results including, but not limited to height, weight, blood pressure, body fat, and BMI (Body Mass Index)
• Blood testing including fingerstick and / or venipuncture blood draws in a fast-paced environment
• Preparation of specimens for storage or additional processing
• Set up and break down portable blood draw / biometric station(s)
• May need to transport supplies to and from health screening events (lifting up to 20 lbs.)
• Maintains the logs and records for all Laboratory transactions and information in accordance with department and regulatory requirements
• Must have morning availability (Monday-Friday) for event-based employment
• May require other duties as assigned

Required Experience/Availability:

• Have completed a minimum of 200 successful venipunctures within the last year, preferably within in the last 6 months and/or 100 fingersticks performed in the last year
• Able to use a manual blood pressure cuff with no assistance
• Must be available to work a PRN, event-driven position, mainly during the weekday mornings

Education:

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required
• Current national certification in Phlebotomy from a Premise Health approved organization OR one of the following:
• Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Phlebotomy program with hands‑on externship completed
• Active state specific Phlebotomy certification is required for candidates performing phlebotomy in NV, CA WA, and LA

• Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred.
