Job summary

TRIMEDX seeks a seasoned biomedical equipment professional who can lead in a clinical engineering setting, drive uptime and safety, and advise clinicians on equipment usage and strategy. The role emphasizes ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and mentorship to elevate team performance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in biomedical equipment, a strong background in diagnostics, networking, and hardware repair, and an associate degree in electronics or a related field.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of biomedical equipment experience in a clinical engineering setting (required)
  • Strong expertise in complex systems, diagnostics, networking, and hardware repair
  • Associate degree in electronics/technical field or equivalent experience (required)
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred); CBET certification (preferred)
  • Valid driver's license; ability to travel as needed

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of highly complex equipment - driving uptime, safety, and performance
  • Solve advanced technical issues others can't, from system diagnostics to networked devices
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clinicians and leadership on equipment use and strategy
  • Lead projects and mentor technicians, raising the capability of the entire team

What You'll Need
  • 5+ years of biomedical equipment experience in a clinical engineering setting (required)
  • Strong expertise in complex systems, diagnostics, networking, and hardware repair
  • Associate degree in electronics/technical field or equivalent experience (required)
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred); CBET certification (preferred)
  • Valid driver's license; ability to travel as needed

Applicants can expect a compensation range of $42.20 - $57.90 hourly for this opportunity.

This is the reasonable estimate that TRIMEDX believes it might pay for this particular job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. TRIMEDX may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience and qualifications.
