Job summary

Trimedx is seeking a hands-on biomedical equipment technician to own repair, calibration, and safe operation of complex clinical equipment across clinical settings. You will ensure equipment is ready for clinicians, guide users on proper operation, and strengthen inventory control with precise documentation.

You should have 3+ years in clinical engineering, strong electronics skills, and an associate degree or TRIMEDX-aligned certification. Travel may be required; driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of biomedical equipment experience in a clinical engineering environment.
  • Strong technical skills (systems, diagnostics, hardware repair, error code interpretation).
  • Associate degree in electronics/technical field or equivalent experience (or TRIMEDX certification).
  • CBET Certification preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to travel as needed.

  • Own the performance, repair, and calibration of complex clinical equipment—keeping care uninterrupted.
  • Ensure critical medical equipment is safe, accurate, and ready when clinicians need it.
  • Guide clinicians on safe, effective equipment use
  • Strengthen operations through accurate documentation, compliance, and smart inventory control

Applicants can expect a compensation range of $32.30 - $50.30 hourly for this opportunity. This is the reasonable estimate that TRIMEDX believes it might pay for this particular job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. TRIMEDX may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience and qualifications. TRIMEDX may also provide associates with benefits that include health/dental/vision, HSA/FSA, matching retirement plans, paid vacation and parental leave, adoption/infertility assistance, and more!
