Job summary

TriMedx, LLC in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an experienced Biomedical Equipment Technician to take full ownership of highly complex medical equipment, driving uptime, safety, and performance. You will diagnose advanced issues, advise clinicians, and lead projects while mentoring junior technicians.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in clinical engineering, an associate degree in electronics or a technical field, and may hold a CBET certification or a bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of biomedical equipment experience in a clinical engineering setting.
• Associate degree in electronics/technical field or equivalent experience (required).
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred); CBET certification (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of highly complex equipment—driving uptime, safety, and performance.
• Solve advanced technical issues from system diagnostics to networked devices.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clinicians and leadership on equipment use and strategy.
• Lead projects and mentor technicians, raising the capability of the entire team.
