Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University is seeking a Biomedical Technician II to provide advanced maintenance and support for biomedical and clinical data systems in our Philadelphia facilities. Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in electronics, biomedical engineering, or related field, or high school diploma with 2 years of relevant experience.
• 1 year progressive experience in electronic/electromechanical repairs on biomedical equipment.
• Ability to perform component level repairs at least 35% of the time.
• Proficiency in repair and preventive maintenance of anesthesia machines, gas analyzers, blood cell savers, and diagnostic ultrasound.

• Completes the preventive maintenance workload to achieve high PM compliance.
