Job summary

Trimedx is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to be stationed onsite at UPMC-Trinity Hospital. You will own repair, calibration, and preventive maintenance of complex clinical equipment, ensuring uninterrupted patient care and safety.

Collaborate with clinicians and leadership to optimize equipment use, document activities with precision, and maintain compliance. Willingness to travel as required supports national opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics or a technical field or TRIMEDX certification required.
• CBET certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Need

• Minimum 3 years of biomedical equipment experience in a clinical engineering environment
• Strong technical skills (systems, diagnostics, hardware repair, error code interpretation)
• Associate degree in electronics/technical field or equivalent experience (or TRIMEDX certification)
• CBET Certification preferred
• Valid driver's license; ability to travel as needed
