Job summary

Trimedx is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician in Winston-Salem, NC to own the performance, repair, and calibration of complex clinical equipment, ensuring uninterrupted patient care. Travel may be required; strong troubleshooting and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of biomedical equipment experience in a clinical engineering environment.
• Strong technical skills in systems, diagnostics, hardware repair, and error code interpretation.
• Associate degree in electronics/technical field or equivalent experience (or TRIMEDX certification).
• CBET certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own the performance, repair, and calibration of complex clinical equipment—keeping care uninterrupted
• Ensure critical medical equipment is safe, accurate, and ready when clinicians need it
• Guide clinicians on safe, effective equipment use
• Strengthen operations through accurate documentation, compliance, and smart inventory control
