Job summary

TRIMEDX in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to own the performance, repair, and calibration of complex clinical equipment, ensuring care remains uninterrupted. You will guide clinicians on safe equipment use, strengthen documentation for regulatory compliance, and support smart inventory control.

Minimum 3 years of biomedical equipment experience in a clinical engineering environment is required; associate degree in electronics/technical field or TRIMEDX/CBET

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of biomedical equipment experience in a clinical engineering environment.
  • Strong technical skills in systems, diagnostics, hardware repair, and interpreting error codes.
  • Associate degree in electronics/technical field or TRIMEDX certification; CBET preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own the performance, repair, and calibration of complex clinical equipment—keeping care uninterrupted.
  • Guide clinicians on safe, effective equipment use and ensure equipment readiness for clinicians.
  • Strengthen operations through accurate documentation, compliance, and smart inventory control.

  • Own the performance, repair, and calibration of complex clinical equipment-keeping care uninterrupted

What You'll Need
  • Minimum 3 years of biomedical equipment experience in a clinical engineering environment
  • Strong technical skills (systems, diagnostics, hardware repair, error code interpretation)
  • Associate degree in electronics/technical field or equivalent experience (or TRIMEDX certification)
  • CBET Certification preferred
  • Valid driver's license; ability to travel as needed
