Job summary

TRIMEDX is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician in Mississippi to maintain and calibrate critical medical devices. You will repair devices and verify readings to ensure safe patient care. Travel to hospitals may be required, with mentorship and growth opportunities provided.

Qualifications

  • It is required to have a 2-year technical/electronics degree or equivalent experience or certification.
  • A valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
  • Experience with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure critical medical equipment is safe, accurate, and ready when clinicians need it.
  • Repair, calibrate, and verify devices to ensure reliable readings.
  • Respond to service requests and provide technical support to clinical staff.
  • Keep equipment database up-to-date, compliant, and audit-ready.

Required Experience & Education
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
  • A 2‑year technical/electronics degree or equivalent experience or TRIMEDX Trained Certification/biomedical certification program.
  • At least 3 months working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment preferred.
