Essentia Health in Duluth, GA is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to repair, calibrate and maintain a range of medical devices and systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and on-site service, recording all activity in the CMMS database.
The role supports safe equipment performance and patient safety, with shifts including Day/Eve rotations. A technical degree or equivalent experience is required, and a valid driver's license is necessary.

Repairs, calibrates, and maintains a variety of biomedical equipment, devices, instruments, and medical systems. Inspects, installs, and performs inventory assessments and preventive maintenance of clinical equipment. Responds to service requests and completes maintenance inspections. Will record medical device repair and maintenance history in CMMS database.
Provides on-site service for medical equipment in the facility. Participates in the development of departmental and entity performance improvement programs. Maximizes patient safety by supporting proper use, application, and operational performance of medical equipment.
