The Biomedical Technician is an intermediate position that performs moderately complex to complex technical work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of diagnostic and therapeutic medical or imaging equipment. Additionally, the technician may provide support and maintenance of applications and servers for applications for specific medical devices. The technician works under moderate supervision while demonstrating independence technical and problem‑solving aptitude. The technician is expected to develop the necessary proficiencies and expertise to consistently ensure medical devices meet the highest standard of providing safe patient care.

Education: Associate of Applied Science Degree from a Biomedical Electronics Program/accredited institution, or degree/certificate of equivalence through military/technical education in biomedical/electronics/engineering, or equivalent years of education and experience required.
Certifications/Licenses: Valid WI Driver's License (DL) required. CBET or CRES preferred.
