Job summary

Current Surgical Inc. seeks a software engineer to push the frontier of medical devices and precision surgery.

You will collaborate with co-founders to design, develop, and test our clinical prototype, and architect lab automation for ongoing experiments and device testing. You will build internal and external tools and user interfaces as part of device prototyping, working closely with mechanical, electrical and research teams.

Qualifications

• MS/BS in computer science or engineering with 2+ years of experience; PhD also considered.
• Proficiency in Python and rapid prototyping for biomedical device software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test clinical prototype software with co-founders.
• Architect and implement lab automation for ongoing experimentation and device testing.
• Develop tools and user interfaces for device prototyping and testing efforts.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical and research teams to achieve clinical goals.
