Job summary

Work is non-exempt and includes repetitive analytic tasks. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences with at least one year of experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field.
• Advanced (beyond basic lab training) may substitute for experience.
• Effective oral and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic lab duties under general supervision and more advanced duties under direct supervision.
• Maintain cell cultures using sterile technique and assist in biochemical assays.
• Record results and prepare graphs/tables for presentations/publications.
• Coordinate repair and preventative maintenance of lab equipment.
• Care for laboratory animals including census, procedures, and immunizations.
