Job summary

Northwestern Universitys MED-Clinical Trials Unit seeks a senior project manager to oversee complex biomedical and social-behavioral studies across sites, budgets, and subcontracting. You will ensure adherence to GCP, IRB, FDA CFR, and ICH guidelines, coordinating grants and coordinating meetings while supervising staff to hit milestones.

On-site role in Chicago four days per week; supervisor sets objectives and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum: 4-year degree in a health/science field or related plus 5 years of research experience; supervisory or PM experience required.
• Alternative: Masters or higher with 3 years of research experience; supervisory or PM experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops and implements processes to support complex research studies.
• Oversees study activities per protocol and regulatory requirements.
• Trains, directs and may supervise lab staff and fellows.
• Ensures documents and regulatory guidelines are complete and timely.
• Interacts with sponsors, collaborators and institutions as liaison.
