Job summary

University of Georgia is seeking a Laboratory Coordinator to support studies in aging biology, cellular senescence, neurodegeneration, cancer biology, and regenerative medicine. You will design experiments, refine laboratory procedures, and contribute to publications under the supervision of the PI.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
  • Experience with laboratory design, execution, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and conduct laboratory-based research supporting aging biology, cellular senescence, and related fields.
  • Develop, modify, and optimize laboratory protocols for quality and reproducibility.
  • Maintain detailed records and assist in preparing manuscripts and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with biosafety, regulatory, and institutional policies.
  • Provide training and mentorship to students and staff.
