Job summary

Children’s National Hospital seeks a Research Biomed Operations Technician to provide front-line operational support for CNRI facilities and equipment. You will coordinate repairs, maintenance, moves, and deliveries, and serve as a liaison with CNH facilities, EVS, IT, safety, and outside vendors.

The role requires an associate degree in engineering/tech with 1–2 years of relevant experience; a bachelor's in engineering is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a relevant engineering/tech field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in engineering or bioengineering.
• 1–2 years of applicable work/internship experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line operational support to CNRI staff and facilities.
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance, moves, and deliveries.
• Perform facility inspections and user training; liaison with CNH facilities, EVS, safety office, and vendors.
• Document repairs, calibrations, and tests; track work orders and service quality.
• Assist in coordination of projects and special assignments.
