Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a Biomedical Prevention Navigator to support the PrEP/PEP HIV prevention program within the Infectious Diseases division.

The role combines direct client services with administrative duties, including enrollment in public benefits and referrals to community resources. The navigator will collaborate with regional workgroups to expand access, provide education, and assist with data collection and program quality initiatives while maintaining HIPAA

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within one month of hire date.
• Preferred bilingual/Spanish-speaking skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Biomedical Prevention Navigation: Assist clients through the care delivery system, schedule PrEP/sexual wellness appointments, provide adherence and retention support.
• Help enroll patients in insurance and public benefits and resolve billing issues.
• Assist with removing barriers to services and provide referrals to social support services.
