Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree or M.D. required.
• 0-1 year of postdoctoral research experience in academic or industrial lab setting, and/or teaching assistantship in a university setting, and/or residency, and/or clinical duties beyond that of the qualifying doctoral degree.
• Competencies include decision making, problem solving, independence of action, and effective communication.
• Ability to communicate in English in written and oral form.
• Ability to lead collaborative teams for larger projects.

Responsibilities

• As a member of the research team, pursue research under supervision of the PI while developing skills for independent work.
• Receive training and perform duties contributing to investigational work, including question formulation, design, conduct, and evaluation of results.
• Prepare and publish scientific manuscripts under direction of PI.
• Develop expertise in lab skills, informatics, physics, and clinical research.
• Develop new ideas to promote current research and bring new expertise to the program.
• Lead teaching and supervise students when appropriate.
• Attend and lead scientific seminars and collaborative meetings.
