Postdoctoral Research Fellow NRSA Institutional Training Grants

Primary Responsibilities

• Abide by institutional policies regarding health, safety, equality, and data management.
• Actively pursue research under supervision while developing independence.
• Contribute to research activities including designing experiments, analyzing results, and publishing findings.
• Develop expertise in laboratory skills, informatics, physics, or clinical research.
• Generate new ideas to advance current research projects.
• Provide supervision and training to students when appropriate.
• Participate in collaborative meetings and scientific seminars.
• Identify and address personal performance deficiencies.
• Work towards securing independent funding towards the end of the fellowship.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree or M.D.
• 0-1 year of postdoctoral research experience or equivalent clinical or academic experience.

Physical Requirements
