Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or graduate/higher level degree with major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position.
• One year of qualifying specialized experience at GS-11 level or higher with duties including summarizing health-related research findings, developing and implementing programs to guide biomedical research, and evaluating findings using qualitative and quantitative methods.
• For GS-12 level: one year of specialized experience including developing/implementing health-related policies and collaborating with stakeholders.
• For GS-13 level: one year of specialized experience including leadership interactions with senior leadership to plan health-related research and evaluating program effectiveness.

Responsabilidades

• Contributes to a range of staff functions involving planning, policy development, and analysis for policy and program decisions.
• Develops reports and staff documents on policies, programs, plans, and research accomplishments.
• Maintains awareness of scientific and legislative developments impacting health and bioethics research and training programs.
• Consults with researchers to identify issues, roadblocks, and actions for policy development.
