Job summary

You will coordinate cyber-security measures, perform system updates, investigate incidents, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while supporting procurement and vendor management

Qualifications

• Associates or higher degree in biomedical technology or biomedical engineering.
• Associates or higher degree in electronics/IT/engineering with 1 year of creditable experience.
• DOD biomedical equipment technician training or HTM certificate programs.
• Certifications in CBET, CRES, CLES, or CHTM.

Responsibilities

• Manages and maintains medical servers, networks, diagnostic software, virtual platforms, and clinical applications.
• Manages projects involving medical equipment and clinical systems, including procurement, installation, and maintenance.
• Maintains hardware components of virtual servers, physical servers, and medical workstations.
• Implements OS updates, upgrades, and antivirus protection.
• Investigates and resolves issues with networked medical equipment and clinical systems.
• Coordinates software patches, updates, and backups with staff and manufacturers.
• Implements cybersecurity measures and disaster recovery plans; documents incidents and responses.

Education

Associates or higher degree in biomedical technology or biomedical engineering

Associates or higher degree in electronics or IT or engineering with 1 year experience

DOD biomedical equipment technician training program

DOD repair/maintenance training in electronics or IT with 1 year experience

HTM or biomedical HTM certificate program with internship

CBET / CRES / CLES / CHTM certification
