Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate or higher degree in biomedical technology or biomedical engineering.
• IT/electronics/engineering degree with 1 year of creditable experience accepted.
• DOD biomedical equipment technician training or HTM/biomed cert programs with internship or 1 year experience accepted.
• Possession of CBET/CRES/CLES/CHTM certifications is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains medical servers, networks, diagnostic software, virtual platforms, and clinical applications.
• Manages hardware of virtual servers, physical servers, and medical workstations.
• Implements OS updates, upgrades, and virus protection.
• Coordinates software patches, updates, and system backups with staff and manufacturers.
