Job summary

University of Florida is seeking a Research Coordinator II to support the Biomedical Informatics program. You will manage research studies at the intersection of health care delivery and information technology, coordinating tasks, communicating with stakeholders, and assisting with grant proposals and dissemination of findings.

The role reports to the Associate Director of Project and Program Management and offers opportunities to develop skills across multiple BMI initiatives and collaborations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly with regard to interpreting and implementing protocols and data integrity.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and to collaborate with faculty, staff, and healthcare professionals at multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Biomedical Informatics Research Study Coordination: Track objectives, milestones, deliverables, status reports, study results. Translate study design decisions into concrete tasks, and assist in setting implementation priorities.
• Communication: Organize and lead project and team meetings. Track and communicate project updates to team members, leadership, and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Grant Proposal Development: Coordinate grant proposal development with investigators and grants administrators. Manage submission milestones and deadlines.
• Research Protocol Implementation: Work with investigators to conduct all phases of quantitative and qualitative research, including recruitment, consent, data collection and analysis.
• Dissemination: Help produce publications and presentations for academic and community audiences.
