Job summary

TriMedx is seeking a BMET/ISE Hybrid to install, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify performance of complex biomedical and medical imaging equipment. You will ensure regulatory compliance, manage inventory, and advise clinical staff on safe operation of devices.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration across departments. Travel to various sites is expected as part of service delivery and project work.

Qualifications

• 2 year degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent experience required.
• TRIMEDX Trained Certification or equivalent biomedical certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering technology preferred.
• Technical Certification preferred.
• Travel may be required based on customer or business needs

Responsibilities

• Carry out PV inspections, maintenance, electrical safety inspections, and operation verification on highly complex biomedical and medical imaging equipment.
• Repair, install and calibrate highly complex biomedical and medical imaging equipment.
• Inform supervisors of the status of repairs, scheduled inspections, unusual equipment situations, and any customer concerns.
• Work with, direct, and document the activities of subcontractors, vendors, and outside service technicians to ensure proper service delivery.
• Maintain Clinical Engineering expertise through ongoing training and education.
• Lead/Assist with Service Operations Special Projects as assigned.
• Travel to sites and/or work with other Central Office associates as necessary for collecting information.
• Act as a primary responder to biomedical and medical imaging equipment service calls & requests.
• Triage service repair needs on imaging & biomedical equipment and communicate status internally and externally as needed
