Job summary

Trimedx is seeking a Hybrid BMET/ISE to install, inspect, repair, calibrate, and verify the performance of complex biomedical and medical imaging equipment. The role ensures regulatory compliance, manages inventory, and advises clinical staff on safe operation of devices.

Responsibilities include PV inspections, maintenance, safety checks, and coordinating with vendors. Travel to sites and collaboration with internal teams are expected as part of service delivery.

Qualifications

• 2 year degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent; TRIMEDX trained certification waives requirement.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering technology preferred.
• Technical certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PV inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections, and operation verification on biomedical and imaging equipment.
• Repair, install and calibrate complex biomedical/imaging equipment.
• Inform supervisors of repair status and any customer concerns.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and outside technicians to ensure service quality.
• Maintain Clinical Engineering expertise through ongoing training and education.
• Travel to sites as needed for special projects and data collection.
• Respond to service calls for biomedical and imaging equipment and communicate status.
