Capital i is seeking Biomedical Equipment Technicians (BMET I, II, or III) to support maintenance, calibration, repair, and lifecycle management of medical equipment across the Northern Light Health network in Portland, Maine. The BMET level will be determined by education, experience, and competencies.

Travel within the hospital network is expected (0–15%). BMET I–III responsibilities include inspections, calibration, and preventive maintenance, with advanced troubleshooting and mentorship for

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a healthcare environment.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and equipment-management systems.

Responsabilidades

• Work in patient-care areas while minimizing disruption to clinical operations.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with patient privacy and information-security requirements.
• Follow infection-control procedures and facility access requirements.
• Respond professionally to urgent equipment-service needs.
• Use test equipment, hand tools, and manufacturer diagnostic software appropriate to assigned responsibilities.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Comply with company policies, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Document maintenance, inspection, calibration, and repair activities accurately and timely in the equipment-management system.
• Participate in scheduled on-call, overtime, weekend, or emergency-response coverage as operationally required.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors to obtain technical support and equipment updates.
• Support inventory management and tracking of biomedical equipment.
• Support equipment risk-assessment and preventive-maintenance program activities appropriate to the assigned BMET level.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
