Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Biomedical Technician to join a large health system. The role involves performing routine safety checks, scheduled maintenance, calibrations, and repairs on diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment.

You will support the integration of medical devices with hospital IT systems and networks, and document all completed work to meet FDA, Joint Commission, and hospital regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in biomedical engineering required or equivalent.
• Hands-on repair and troubleshooting experience with biomedical or hospital equipment.
• Proven customer service skills and patient-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine safety checks on diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment.
• Perform scheduled maintenance (SM/PM) on diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment.
• Perform calibrations on diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment.
• Perform repairs on diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment.
• Support the integration of medical devices with hospital IT systems and networks.
• Enter documentation for all completed work to meet FDA, Joint Commission, and hospital regulatory requirements.
