The role involves performing repairs under supervision, inspections, safety tests, documentation, and collaboration with other engineering specialties, OEMs and business partners. Travel to support multiple sites and after-hours on-call work are routine.

Qualifications

  • Minimum four years experience in biomedical equipment maintenance or related field.
  • Experience and working knowledge of medical equipment and systems in general instrumentation or the specialty area.
  • Must be willing to travel to support multiple sites and work extended hours.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all phases of scheduled and corrective repairs of biomedical equipment and medical systems.
  • Perform pre-issue and asset accounting, equipment installation and de-installation as needed.
  • Conduct inspections, maintenance and electrical safety tests to maintain code compliance.
  • Document results of inspections, maintenance and tests in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other biomedical engineers specialties, KPIT, OEMs and Business Partners.
